Wish List of Preloved Things For Our Garden

Updated March 21 2013

Thanks for taking the time to preview our list of goodies that would really make our garden sing.

If you can source and donate any of these items, please let the school know by 3391 5397

or you can email Linda Brennan the Science in the Garden educator linda@ecobotanica.com.au with your offers

·         Three old eskies or similar sized durable boxes for making into worm farms

·         A blackboard to be used as community noticeboard, or materials and labour to create this essential item.

·         2 half 44 gallon drums with top edges rolled over (to prevent injury). These will become new compost bins that the children can work easily.

·         Downpipe pieces. Lengths about 1.2-1.5 metres long and 80-100 mm diameter are ideal to make into comfrey tea makers for plant fertiliser. These are mounted on the fence using saddle clips and before long the children have learnt how to make their own fertilisers.
