St Joseph's has a proud music tradition and values the opportunity for students to have access to a quality yet diverse curriculum.
The music program at St Joseph's encompasses classroom music as well as an outstanding strings and instrumental program.
Classroom music begins in Prep and provides the foundation for students to flourish and develop their musical and creative talents.
From Prep private instrumental tuition is available on a range of instruments with some of Brisbane's finest Music Teachers.
There are a number of additional extra curricular activities available to broaden student's musical horizons which include both non auditioned and auditioned choirs; Sr Mary Justine & Sr Mary Aloysius, the Sr Mary Ancilla & Sr Mary Regina String Ensemble, chamber ensembles and the Years 3 to 6 strings program.
Over three quaters of our school communuty are involved in the music program at St Joseph's.
